{"id":1460,"date":"2015-05-31T17:44:37","date_gmt":"2015-05-31T16:44:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/emtunc.org\/blog\/?p=1460"},"modified":"2015-05-31T17:44:37","modified_gmt":"2015-05-31T16:44:37","slug":"cisco-ironport-esa-finally-supports-tls-1-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/emtunc.org\/blog\/05\/2015\/cisco-ironport-esa-finally-supports-tls-1-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Cisco IronPort ESA Finally Supports TLS 1.2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ASyncOS 9.5 is in <em>Limited Deployment <\/em>at the moment but you don&#8217;t have to wait long before it hits an ESA near you as Cisco seem to be pushing out ASyncOS releases pretty quickly\u00a0these days.<\/p>\n<p>9.5 comes with a bunch of new features\u00a0including one many people have been waiting for &#8211; support for TLS 1.2.<\/p>\n<p>See the release notes @ <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cisco.com\/c\/dam\/en\/us\/td\/docs\/security\/esa\/esa9-5\/ESA_9-5_Release_Notes.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.cisco.com\/c\/dam\/en\/us\/td\/docs\/security\/esa\/esa9-5\/ESA_9-5_Release_Notes.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you don&#8217;t want to wait for it to hit the\u00a0<em>General Deployment<\/em> phase then you can raise a TAC support request with the serial number of your appliance and a request to be put on the LD list for release 9.5.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll probably be doing this my self in the next few days.
